In 1981 a retired Presbyterian minister invited North Lake Travis residents to consider the formation of a multiple denominational church. Rolling Hills Community Church, chartered in 1984, became a fully-accredited, participating member of the Presbyterian Church, the United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
The purpose of Rolling Hills Community Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping them to:
- OPEN the fruit of the Spirit to all people
- UNITE human beings to God and to each other
- REACH OUT beyond their fellowship
- SERVE as our Lord's ministers and missionaries
The future of Rolling Hills Community Church resides in the fulfillment of its purpose and mission.
