Boy Scouts of America
Troop 198 serve the communities along the North Shore of Lake Travis including Lago Vista, Jonestown & Point Venture. Cub Scouts is for girls and boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Scouts, BSA is for girls and boys from 5th grade up to age 18. Rolling Hills Community Church is the Chartered Organization in Lago Vista that sponsors these groups. Currently, there is no active cub scout group.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
