# A Personal Approach to Disaster Relief
*UPDATE:** Tamie Willi has spoken with the pastor of the Round Mountain Baptist Church about the initiative to adopt one or two families in the Sandy Creek area who have been impacted by the floods. He is currently reaching out to families and will provide an update, so we anticipate having a plan in place by next week.
For those who may not be aware, the Round Mountain Church serves as the central hub for the community. They are actively distributing donations, providing meals, and offering portable showers and laundry facilities on-site. Be sure to check out their Facebook page; it’s truly remarkable to witness all that they have organized.
